Notice from Campus Safety: Property owners near the Viterbo campus are starting to complain that Viterbo students and employees are congregating on sidewalks in front of their homes, smoking cigarettes, and then throwing the cigarette butts on their lawns and sidewalks. Be a good neighbor and refrain from this type of activity. Don’t smoke in groups and clean up after yourselves.

Hiring news from Sonya Ganther, HR: Tony Proft has joined Viterbo University today as the Maintenance Supervisor. Most recently, Tony worked at Ashley Furniture as a Facilities Maintenance and HVAC Supervisor and owned his own heating and cooling business in Black River Falls. The Viterbo community is invited to join Sue Hauser, fine arts, for a presentation on non-traditional musical instruments from 12:20–12:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. Sue will demonstrate how to play a variety of non-traditional musical instruments, such as: fiddle and fiddlesticks, musical saw, the spoon family, etc.
